H. Winslow Rogers, III, D.D.S., M.S.
Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics
Dr. Rogers received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the UNC School of Dentistry. After graduation, he continued his education in a General Practice Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received his first post-Doctoral degree, and he also severed as chief resident for the hospital dentistry program. He continued his specialty training at Indiana University with final specialty certificates in Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, which concluded his 6 years of continual training beyond regular dental school. He moved to Rocky Mount in June of 1999. Since that time, he has focused his practice on providing comprehensive dental care for patients in order to meet the majority of their needs. He is a true specialist in crown and bridge work, cosmetic reconstruction, implants, dentures and partial dentures, yet our patients tell us that our best quality is the magnificent patient experience here.
Dr. Rogers is a Board Certified Prosthodontist, which means he has been scrutinized by a Board of Prosthdonitsts where he demonstrated excellence in all facets of the practice of prosthodontics. His 24 years of experience includes treating cases that range in difficulty from ones in a major University setting to the private practice cases. Our practice is unique in that it is set in a building with several other dental specialists than are readily accessible to consult with patients for most all their needs, simple or complex, in one place at the level of care that only true specialists can provide. His vast knowledge of multiple implant systems is the reason so many dentists and specialists from all around NC seek him out to restore and reconstruct difficult cases, esthetically and functionally. Countless patients drive from many miles around, seeking care from Dr. Rogers and his staff. He has been asked by implant companies to give instructional lectures to dentists on their specific implant systems and techniques.
Dr. Rogers has been married to Dr. Laura Rogers for 21 years and they have one child. They are very committed to their community, locally and statewide. They are members of First Presbyterian Church where Dr. Rogers has been elected Elder, and he has taught Sunday school for years. Dr. Rogers serves on the state district dental society and he has served as Vice President of the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Rogers holds memberships in the American College of Dentists, the America Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the North Carolina Dental Society, the ADA and many others. In his spare time he enjoys riding his bike, running, and triathlons (Ironman finisher in 2010). He also enjoys hunting, pit smoking all type of meats and the great outdoors.

In memory of: T. Carlton Pierce, D.D.S., M.S.D.
In September of 2014, we lost our beloved Dr. Carlton Pierce. He came to Rocky Mount in 1974 and he practiced in this same location, treating countless patients throughout Eastern North Carolina. His 49 years of experience brought extreme knowledge to any difficult case and his relaxed personality put everyone at ease. We miss him and continue his commitment to high standards in everything we do, daily.
